Plot
Released from prison after 25 years, New York mob boss Dwight “The General” Manfredi is exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Sylvester Stallone’s first major role in a television series. Dwight “The General” Manfredi: I don’t really go to church. The opening credits sequence features several photographic and painted images, as well as Oklahoma landmarks, superimposed on the New York landscape: a statue of the Sioux Indian chief “Touch the Clouds”, wearing a war cap and a necklace (plaster).

45.7 (2022). For Stallone to make a TV show, you knew it had to be a good script, and of course it would be with Taylor Sheridan as the creator. Sheridan has continued to hit home run after home run. It’s the best thing on TV right now with amazing shows like Yellowstone, 1883, The Mayor of Kingstown, etc.
I mean, come on?
And movies like Sicario, Hell, or High Water and Wind River. Everything he touches turns to gold. Plus, one of the other writers is Terence Winter, who wrote shows like The Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire. It wasn’t like this show was bad with those two at the helm.
Stallone plays a very likable tough guy to perfection
