A pastor’s daughter pretends to be dating her best friend, just as he meets the girl of his dreams. Will this ruin their friendship or will it blossom into romance? I really enjoyed this movie! It’s very funny, keeps you engaged and not exactly what you expect from a romantic comedy. I laughed a lot and really liked the ending. Since the movie takes place on Christmas Day, it is a fantastic Christmas movie, but its plot is so adaptable that it can be watched at any time of the year. I love the Christian story of love and friendship presented in this movie. Mark Christopher Lawrence knocks it out of the park with his serious and terrifying pastor/father role. It also has some real stars on the rise, from director Tim Nolte and leads Ashley LaRae (Jess) and Burke Brown (Alex).
