Plot

It follows a struggling high school heavy metal band made up of outcasts who take advantage of the town’s sudden interest in the occult to gain a reputation as a Satanic metal band until a strange series of events leads to a witch hunt that brings them back to life. Def Lepard – Hysteria, KISS – The Sky Is Burning, Meatloaf – Speaking In Tongues, Iron Maiden – Can I Play With Madness, Black Sabbath – Dirt Young, Danzig – Mother, Queen and dance” is late. Ghost Macabre.

The cable broke and I found this by accident

The Peacock isn’t my usual streamer but I got a good price on it. Anyway, I wasn’t expecting much but I love a good horror comedy and this one was better than I expected. I love that it was set in the 1980s because it gave it a ‘leave it to the beaver’ feel; The parents are what you’d expect from an ’80s TV series.

The second story is that all the adults go into a frothing religious hysteria (get it) over their children

When a teenage football star goes missing and is later found in what appears to be a ritualistic death, two stories begin to run parallel. Three outcasts who have a hard rock band that no one attends decide to use it as a way to promote their band. They convince everyone that they’re Satanists acting on the spur of the moment, but then make them prime suspects in a murder.

The two main people are Linda and Tracey

Tracey is a good villain because she’s perfectly willing to use Linda’s fear of not understanding her son and his decisions as a way to whip the town into hysteria. The show isn’t perfect, but it does say some interesting things about how parents are afraid of not understanding their children when they don’t follow the plan for them. But it also shows that there’s real danger masked by fear and paranoia.

It’s a fun show and if you’re looking for something to watch, it’s worth checking out
