"A Chiefs Love Story" continues that trend
Plot
Alana Higman, a die-hard fan of the Kansas City Chiefs movies, is competing to win the team’s Fan of the Year competition, judged by Director of Fan Engagement Derrick The film was filmed on location in Independence, Missouri Independence Square, and it actually looks like it did all year long. The Higman Family Store and Norma and Nick’s BBQ Restaurant are also family-owned shops in real life. They also have Christmas lights, just like in the movie.. 6.7/10 (Recommended)Hallmark movies are cheesy and sometimes a little unrealistic in their romantic storytelling abilities, and 2024 has proven to be a fantastic year for Christmas romance.
Hunter, in particular, gives a spectacular performance
I’m not a football fan, and I’m a little tired of hearing about the Chiefs, but honestly, this movie is amazing. It’s emotionally driven (I cried a few times) and it has a cast that really works together. The chemistry between Hunter King and Tyler Hines was noticeable from the start. As soon as they gave me the twinkle in their eyes, I knew this movie was going to be good.
She takes her role seriously
She’s visually stunning when she needs to be, which is what directing is all about. Some Hallmark actresses don’t do that, so to me she stands out. The story is wonderful, and it’s told as if it’s a real family affair, but given the traditions and superstitions that exist in sports families, there’s no doubt that this situation plays out in personal lives year after year. This movie is a little different because it focuses on a family love rather than two individuals, so it has more personality.

Overall, this movie is a must-see for Hallmark movie fans. You don’t even have to like sports or football to understand what’s going on. You have to believe that love can be expressed in mysterious ways, and sometimes those mysterious ways are in the form of superstition and Christmas magic.
