Plot
Unravel the mystery of a town in the American Midwest that traps anyone who enters it. As the townspeople struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. Known as Beaver Bank Villa, the site has a long history and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, a fire station, a school, a church, a grocery store, etc.
When Boyd enters the distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well
(all demolished by 2004) to support the workers at the nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. All that remains are paved streets and driveways, and a faux town has been built on top of them. The rope is thrown to him by (presumably) Martin in the room above, despite the fact that his wrists are chained.

Instead of giving us any real answers, it feels like the show is just adding more layers to the mystery. If From keeps holding back and not revealing anything, it could lose viewers who want to at least see the truth.
