Plot
After a family tragedy, three generations of the Dietz family return home to Winter River
Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her teenage daughter Astrid accidentally opens the portal to the afterlife. Jenna Ortega, Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, Justin Theroux, and Monica Bellucci share why filming Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice was an experience they’ll never forget. Tim Burton has said that this movie will only be made if Michael Keaton returns to reprise his role.
Later, you bastard
Keaton said in March 2014 that this was the only sequel he wanted to make. The film makes reference to the “French physicist” Marie Sklodowska-Curie; she’s actually one of the most famous Polish scientists in history, often considered second only to Copernicus.. SPOILER: There’s a dedication in the closing credits to Bob Skinner , who died in the film. MacArthur Park Written by Jimmy Webb Performed by Donna Summer Courtesy of Island Def Jam Music Group Licensed by Universal Music Operations Ltd. If you know the original then you will most likely be disappointed by this film which suffers from a poor plot line and chaotic screenplay – he&# 39; is a big, high-energy mess of a movie.
The biggest problem is that, unlike the original, it lacks likable characters
Adam and the Barbera amp were established early on and were the catalyst for what followed. The 2024 version has no such characters, meaning the catalyst is missing, as well as any reason for the audience to invest and care about any shallow characterizations, with the possible exception of Bob. There are no "moments" in the 100-minute presentation, nothing with the potential to become classic quotable scenes unlike the original, which was peppered with them.
You may get something out of the movie, and I sincerely hope you do, but lower your expectations before the lights go out
Keaton, Ryder and O’Hara are criminally underused and struggle with a poor script that left my cinema quiet throughout and with an equally quiet shuffling as people walked out the doors.
